Just a short note to express our delight with our recent dealings with the team at the L J Hooker office at Helensburgh.
My business and background is in the pest and building inspection industry so I have close contact with many real estate agents on a daily basis. Some of those dealings are pleasant and some are not. We could be forgiven for sometimes building a less than flattering opinion of some agents and the way they deal with both purchasers and vendors. I guess all industries have their black sheep and the real estate industry certainly has their fair share of them.
Prior to listing with L J Hooker, we spoke to a variety of agents in our area and I am very pleased to say that all our dealings with Julie Humphries and her very capable team were excellent to say the least. Julie is a straight talker without any of the usual fluff and bubble you would expect to get from an agent trying to sign up a new listing. Her estimate of the value and more importantly the subsequent sale price of our house was spot on (In fact we got a bit more than the asking price) and was in line with our expectations.
Just summing up, selling property can be a stressful and difficult process. In our case, the exact opposite was true. The process was easy, painless and handled very professionally.
